Investing in Yourself to Create Exponential Wealth in 2015
It is the New Year and this year, your resolution should be to create exponential wealth with your business. You have enough capital for your small business but the question to answer over here is how, as an entrepreneur, are you going to invest in YOURSELF.
You know the importance of marketing, keeping employees motivated, customers happy, and many more factors that determine the success and growth of a business. However, the question here to ask is how you are going to invest in yourself this year to generate exponential wealth.
The following explains the two parts that an entrepreneur should focus on in order to positively invest within himself/herself.
Efficient Management of Time
There are many strategies that you can use to implement an efficient time managed schedule. Now this is not the daily or the monthly schedule, we are talking about the big picture here. Look at all the big names in business, like Warren Buffet and Richard Branson; as their businesses grew, their role and duties became a more pivotal in the overall running of the organization.
Although they have a number of effective and efficiently performing managers at their disposal, they are not completely dependent on them. They still take on the part of a team leader no matter how long the business has been running.
Your mindset, as an entrepreneur, differs greatly from the people who are working for you. As a business grows, so does the team. Working together in order to achieve success becomes the goal. A manager will be motivated to work as much as the compensation he/she is being offered. However, you, as an entrepreneur, will also be willing to work for free just to see your business grow.
Time is essential in these cases. The more time you invest in your business, effectively, the more the chances are of your business succeeding. It is not the capital that is responsible for the growth of a business, it is how you give time to your business. This clearly does not mean that you should only work, work and work; it means that you should have the ability to manage time in a way that results in productivity without disrupting the other parts of your life.
Reinvesting Profits
“Concentrate your energy, your thoughts and your capital.” – Andrew Carnegie
Once the profits start coming in a business, the first instinct is to spend it away and just celebrate this success. Though celebrating success is not a bad thing, you need to make sure that you use this profit amount to invest in your business for strategies that generate sales that are even more efficient.
These profits function as resources for the growth of your business. Resisting the temptation to spend this money frivolously in the early days of your business is guaranteed to take your business towards exponential growth in the coming years. Before investing in business plans, you have to learn to invest within yourself first. YOU are the heart of your business and success of your business depends on the decisions you make and the strategies you implement.
